We Need You!

The DeKalb County Chapter of the American Red Cross is
always looking for volunteers to help with the following:
·
Disaster Services: Emergency disaster assistance helps individuals and
families get back on their feet by providing basic necessities when they are
needed most.
·
General Office: Help with everyday office needs like phone calls, filing, computer
work, and mailings.
·
Disaster Action Team: (DAT) Respond to single-family fires within the
community under the advisement of a DAT supervisor.
·
Board Members: Serve on the local Red Cross unit board of directors which help to
establish policy and direction for the chapter.
·
Disaster Clerical: Needed to assemble class packets, stamp brochures,
and distribute and educate community with the latest disaster prevention and
recovery information.
·
Health and Safety Instructors: Teach community and local school children in CPR,
First Aid, Water Safety, and other youth safety presentations.
·
Babysitting Course Instructors: Become certified to teach babysitting certification
courses to adolescents.
·
Special Projects: To assist with various duties for fundraising and
special events.
